As time passed the number of participants increased as well as the cultures: not only people from Extremadura or Spain but from other European, Asian or African countries. Nowadays the festival is celebrated along a whole week. The groups use to show their best cultural features and dresses and live together with people who have gone to Fregenal to watch them.
At night, groups dressed with traditional costumes and show their popular dances and songs. In these performances the groups invite members from other groups to join them to singing or dancing. The last day the inhabitants of Fregenal decorate their houses and streets with flowers and flags to embellish the parade of all the groups.
