Getxo International Jazz Festival
The Getxo International Jazz Festival, one of the first of the season, is held over the first days of July on different stages in the coastal town of Getxo.

International performers join young groups at this multicultural event, bringing together a great diversity of musical styles and backgrounds. Apart from the concerts, there is also a Groups Competition which is held in parallel to the festival.
Getxo once again brings together the very best in jazz today. The Biscayan town will host a multitude of concerts, which without a shadow of a doubt, will delight all fans of this musical genre.
As has been the case in previous years, Biotz Alai square will be the venue for the main concerts and where the groups competition will be held. In addition, Plaza Estación de Algorta will play host to several concerts in the “Third Millennium” section and there will be parades, jamming sessions and photo exhibitions.
