As an emblem of elegance and comfort, the Kempinski chain is present at the Costa del Sol, offering a new concept on rest and relax which is based on extraordinary facilities, the hospitality of its staff, and the natural harmony with the environment.

The hotel is located by the sea and surrounded by 45,000 sq m of tropical gardens splattered with waterfalls and palm trees, and offers one of the best views of the coast of Málaga, Gibraltar, and even, in sunny days, the northern coast of Africa. Architecture and design complement each other in this tourist complex with excellent results. In this exclusive resort, you’ll find the perfect combination of luxury and peace.

The hotel has 133 rooms of approximately 42 sq m, all with private balcony or terrace overlooking the sea, and equipped with all the amenities expected from a luxury hotel. There are also 15 suites -standard, junior, deluxe, diamond, presidential, and royal. The standard and junior suites, of approximately 80 sq m, are decorated either in safari style, in pastel colours with wildlife images, or in shell style, in which light shades combine with sea motifs. Both include two distinct areas: bedroom, dressing room and main bathroom on the one hand, and lounge with toilet on the other.

The deluxe and diamond suites, overlooking the sea -laterally the former and frontally the latter- comprise bedroom and lounge, covering 100 sq m. Lastly, the presidential and royal suites, of 120 and 150 sq m respectively, stand out for their exquisite décor. The royal suite, in colonial style, is located at the highest and most privileged point in the building, and features a second terrace, equipped with Jacuzzi and deck chairs, from where the best views of the area can be enjoyed.

Kempinski’s culinary offer is outstanding. El Mirador serves a varied buffet breakfast to start your day with, and it includes a healthy food table. For lunch, the menu offers many exclusive international dishes, mainly prepared with first-rate local produce. To top it off, you’ll be able to enjoy delicious home-made desserts. A distinctive feature is the well-known brunch on Sundays, lightened up with live music.

While the wintry cold doesn’t set in, you’ll be able to enjoy a romantic outdoor dinner at La Brisa, where you can choose among a wide selection of Italian dishes. The lovely garden view and live music will accompany you all through the evening.

El Alminar, a new concept in restaurants, invites you to taste Andalusian dishes with a touch of Arabian and Asian flavours. A culinary journey seasoned with excellent wines. This restaurant also gives you the opportunity to savour a special menu and enjoy special service at the Almenara tower, no doubt the true romantic spot of the hotel.

La Cabaña del Mar, a wooden cabin with a large terrace by the sea, offers typical, delicious and healthy Mediterranean dishes (rice, fish, and salads, among others), either for lunch or for dinner. The La Veranda bar is the ideal place to taste Spain’s traditional tapas. It also has an excellent choice of cava wines and different drinks. Lastly, the pool bar is the ideal place to enjoy a refreshing natural juice, cocktail or ice-cream under the beach umbrella. Equally outstanding is the choice of coffees though the bar is closed in winter.

With an excellent service, as it could be expected from a five-star grand luxury hotel, the Kempinski has four special event rooms with wireless Internet connection and all the necessary devices: Poniente (282 sq m with a seating capacity of 240), Levante (90 sq m with a seating capacity of 40), Terral (92 sq m, seating capacity 41), and Sahara (80 sq m, seating capacity 35).

There are more than 30 golf courses and a horse riding school close to the hotel, and within the hotel, the sports offer includes a tennis court, a fitness centre, and the Poly Mar Spa, with anti-stress, anti-ageing, and slimming programmes. This Spa, of 1,200 sq m, has 18 treatment rooms, workout area, sauna, and heated pool.

Lastly, we’ll mention the Kempinski VIP Club programme, whose aim is to integrate children into the functioning and services of the hotel, making them feel very special.
