The three golf courses have been designed by Cabell B. Robinson, who has proven his mastery at his craft by a superb use of the natural topography of the land. The Campo Norte or Campo de América is a 6,187-metre par 73 course. The Campo Sur or Campo de Asia is a 5,925-metre par 72 layout, while the Campo de Europa is a 6,014-metre par 71 course. The latter has wide fairways and slightly larger tees and greens, what makes it more accessible to the average golfer.

The courses are complemented with magnificent training facilities and David Leadbetter’s Golf Academy, which caters for all levels, from beginners to professionals. The facilities include a six-hole par 3 golf course. The Driving Range course, measuring more than 300 metres, has fabulous views. The training facilities include chipping areas, putting greens, and bunkers in which players can practise. They also have a private teeing area and a building with two indoor areas for driving practice, video rooms, advanced putting studio, and a massage and relaxation area.

At the Club House, located at hole 19, you can enjoy lunch on its magnificent terrace, or a snack in its bar, or just relax in its rest areas, such as the cosy Los Olivos lounge, as well as get anything you need to practise this exclusive sport in its store. But these are not the only sporting facilities La Cala Resort has to offer. There are also tennis and squash courts, gym, a football field meeting FIFA’s recommended size, outdoor swimming pool, and Jacuzzi, plus other activities on request, such as horse riding, sailing, tuna fishing, four-wheel drive trips, among others.
