Located near the mosque, La Meridiana is a renowned, exclusive restaurant that has been a symbol of Marbella’s lifestyle for many years. European nobles and members of royal families or millionaires and celebrities from all over the world can be seen eating at the tables in the splendid garden or the indoor dining room.
The unparalleled scene boasting lush gardens, pools and glazed terraces is not the only attraction in the complex; there’s La Notte night club as well. Italian Paolo Ghirelli owned La Meridiana for twenty-three years. Paolo adapted the restaurant to the requirements of Marbella’s jet set and beyond. Currently, its owner is Emilio Rodríguez, who after refurbishing the place continues to offer the excellent services customers were used to. The new owner has retained the old staff. The kitchen is still run by Eusebio Checa, whose expertise is shown in the good and varied menu.
