Those who are interested in nature and its beauties must visit the Montgo Natural Park in the Region of Valencia. This natural park lies 753 meters above sea level and boasts of 600 and more vegetable species. The famous amongst them are the black sabine, rock scabious, Valencia rock violet, maritime fennel, red lavender, kermes oak, etc.

Lovers of fauna will also find a great time over here and they can find a wide range of birds including the partridge eagle, the raven, the crow, royal owls. Apart from this, there are various types of animals and reptiles too like the genet, the badger, the rabbit, and the dormouse.

There are a number of walking trails in this garden that was established in the year 1987, and you should try them out. While walking along the trails, you should not forget that you are in a natural protected area and should hence respect animals and plants. Most of these trails offer panoramic and breathtaking views to visitors.

If you plan to reach the summit of the Montgo, then you should take the Crueta trail. Others might be interested in trails like Cova Del Camell and the Raco del Bou.
