Based on a project designed by Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, this nature reserve is a different way of seeing animals in danger of extinction. Animals do not suffer from the effect of captivity since they have vast natural spaces that resemble their natural habitat. Hence, the high reproduction levels, without any artificial manipulation.
Safari Madrid offers visitors the opportunity to see wild animals living in freedom. From the visitor’s own vehicle or a pneumatic train, a great variety of animals can be seen at close quarters, many of them sharing the space with other species typical of their eco-system.
Apart from giraffes, bears or lions, the safari park also has reptile and insect sections. In summer, visitors can use a swimming pool to fight the warm temperatures. It is located next to a giant slide and a circuit track for karts.
