Traditionally on the first Sunday of May a popular festivity is celebrated in the municipality of Santa Eulària, which stands out because of its majesty.
The origin of the festivity is to be found in the legend that speaks of a moment when after a mass held on the promontory of the Old Church, when the faithful had already left the church, the temple sunk into the ground, with all the parishioners saving their lives. This event was interpreted as a miracle by the town’s people, who since then have commemorated the first Sunday of May, date of the event. Activities are diverse, with the original parade of floats festooned for the occasion standing out.
