The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort, Marbella-Benahavís, is the most recent jewel of the Costa del Sol -a true paradise in the heart of the famous Marbella Golf Valley, where the green hills beautifully blend with the blue colour of the Mediterranean Sea.
The resort is surrounded by lush gardens and features three outdoor pools (one of them heated, and one for children), restaurants, bars, sauna, fitness centre and an Asian massage centre, all with easy access for disabled people and managed by a courteous multilingual staff. The resort has 163 double rooms, as well as three Premium Deluxe rooms, three Junior suites, two Executive suites, and the Marbella Presidential suite. Spacious and decorated in Andalusian style (with terracotta floors and wooden furnishings), every room has a private balcony from which to enjoy the views of the fairways and the Mediterranean weather. The resort also has two rooms for disabled people, connected rooms, and non-smoking rooms. All the rooms feature air conditioning, a spacious bathroom with bidet, bathtub and separate shower, VMS, cable and satellite television, two phones (one of them in the bathroom), data port for PC connection, minibar, Internet, 24-hour room service, hairdryer, pressing facilities, magnifying mirror, and so on -everything you can expect from a hotel of its category, and even more.
In the golf desk, you’ll be able to get all the information you need to play this sport. La Quinta Golf & Country Club is every golfer’s dream come true: three 9-hole courses, three putting greens, one practice course, pro shop, and the International Golf Academy of Manuel Pińero, the famous golfer and designer of this club. And if golf is not what you choose to keep in shape, you can go to the fitness centre, featuring exercise machines, sauna and Asian massage. You can always ask for this kind of massage in the privacy of your own room.
The resort has two restaurants, the pool bar and the lounge bar with a wide culinary offer, from Mediterranean through Asian to vegetarian cuisine. The elegant Los Arcos restaurant has an indoor dining room and an outdoor area looking at the garden and the pool. There, you can enjoy both delicious local dishes and an international menu.
The Kaede Japanese restaurant, one of the most famous Japanese restaurants in the Costa del Sol, is located in the hotel’s terrace, with panoramic views of Marbella Golf Valley. Enjoy the Chef’s spectacular culinary style tasting the teppanyaki dishes or the well-known sushi or sashimi at the sushi bar. The Aljama bar and lounge is the perfect place to relax, order an aperitif to share with friends or have a drink after dinner. Lastly, and only during the summer, you can enjoy the pool-side bar El Mirador, from whose terrace you can admire the garden and the golf course while having superb cocktails and snacks.
The resort also has a convention centre whose modern facilities plus the roof garden are the perfect place for holding business meetings, incentives, social events or banquets. The centre covers an area of 360 sq m and is divided into three separate sections, having a total seating capacity of 240. In the main building, there’s also an elegant meeting room, three multi-purpose rooms, and to top it all, you can have the room you choose fully equipped and enjoy the best catering service. All rooms and halls have sound system, VCR and computer image projector, screen, data ports, Internet access, cable TV and voice ports.
To satisfy the guests even further, the resort has recently opened the Westin La Quinta Spa, a body-and-soul sanctuary, and the Westin La Quinta Kids Club, a leisure centre for the little ones so that both adults and children can enjoy their family holiday.
