It is the only one in Europe that holds within the same space a Zoo, a Dolphinarium, an Aquarium, an Aviary and other facilities such as a pavilion called “Mysterious Nature”, where the visitor can see reptiles, amphibians and fish, or “The Small Farm”, with domestic farm animals.
The various venues are beautifully conditioned to preserve each species and the vegetation is used to recreate their natural habitat. As it boasts of large garden areas, with over 100 different plant species identified by means of information signs, the Zoo is a Botanical Garden too.
